Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Albany peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dr Sipperly was on time, thorough and an active listener. Everything you want in a primary physician. Staff were also friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to this office for 10+ years. The front desk staff changes often. I love my PA so I will stay, however when my PA is away I get Nicole Pellegrini. She has horrible bedside manner, she is COLD. I don't know if she hates her job or just hates her life. I feel bad because Dr. Sipperly is so great. She ruins his office!

If you have to use CapitalCare then you must use their Delmar location. This location after 10+ years I just canβt take it anymore. Sorry Nicole P. That service and front desk has been awful forever and you knew it. No offense, you are a great provider but itβs time for me to make the extra 5 min drive. Iβve previously been to the Delmar location and itβs night vs day when it comes to service and the facility itself.

The doctor I have is good but someone in the Front Desk staff is not very nice. I called asking some questions the day before and they promised they'd get me an answer end of day, that did not occur so I question whether or not the information was even passed along. I called today to again ask some more questions, they answered one and immediately said have a nice day and hung up on me. I understand maybe there might be more callers but thats no excuse to hang up prematurely.

The reviewers stating they have not had problems with this place are lucky or not being very truthful. Just read the negative reviews all saying the same thing about the front desk staff!! You think these folks are all taking their time to tell lies?? My partner was recently discharged from service after the office staff repeatedly lied to her about timely and important paperwork that they stated was complete and was not, and then the incompetent office manager admitted she lost the paperwork! They discharged her because she appropriately spoke up to the βoffice managerβ. They did not provide refills which is patient abandonment but I would guess this practice is aware of NYS medical law. I am a current patient here as well, but will not be for long. Our provider, sided with office staff for discharge of my partner, even with all of the complaints listed here. I understand times are changing, people are unkind and uncaring as the world ends in real time, but you would think the relationship you have with your PCP is sacred, but I guess not. For those reading this that have made it this far, Iβm sure the office will respond with some routine reply that I cannot control, but I

I have been going to Great Oaks for years. Absolutely love the Dr's. Alisha Ronan is amazing. The nurses have always been very helpful and courteous. I have never had any issues with the front desk people, always very nice to me. Thank you for taking care of us

this office conducts unethical and likely illegal medical abandonment. unreal levels of unprofessionalism by office staff. I have been coming here for 10 years and love my provider however the complete lack of customer service, rudeness, and being lied to by the clinic office manager(!!) is unacceptable. She stared at me blankly when I explained my concerns, no social awareness, no compassion, no customer service. Pathetic and not worth it. Reading other reviews made me realize this is a huge issue that doesnβt seem to be getting better.

I would give zero stars if I could. I was a patient of the Dr here for 20 years, but I cannot recommend this practice to anyone. They have replaced their office management and staff with incompetents, the nursing staff is no better. The office manager decided to treat me like a criminal and make accusations instead of verifying my insurance. I was asked to leave and she told the providers that I threw a pen at the receptionist, who I wasn't even talking to. She got me discharged from the practice, which she was quite proud to tell me. They also lost all my immunization records which I very much needed.... atrocious way to run a medical practice. Disgusting
